The Friendly Center of Orange

The First United Methodist Church of Orange has been a primary supporter of the Friendly Center for many years. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the less fortunate with basic needs, education, and enrichment programs. It provides a variety of programs which provide food for those that need it, supplemental education for all ages, computer classes and parenting guidance.

The Friendly Center, located about a mile north of the Orange Plaza, has been serving the City of Orange since 1924. Our church provides both volunteer and financial assistance as well furnishing food boxes prepared by members of the congregation. In addition, several members of our church are active members on the Friendly Center Board of Directors.

We are pleased to play a significant roll in the support of the Friendly Center as one of our Outreach endeavors.
