CHAPMAN CHILDREN'S CENTER

 

The Chapman Children’s Center is operated by Chapman University, in affiliation with the First United Methodist Church of Orange.

Objective:

The objective of Chapman Children’s Center is to provide each child with the opportunity of developing at his or her own pace by offering a curriculum which is rich in experiential, hands-on learning situations; to guide the child in perfecting interactions and positive relationships with peers and adults. The Center seeks to foster the child’s self esteem through successful experiences with others and within the environment.

Mission:

The Center follows the mission of the University to provide personalized care and instruction to children that leads to inquiring, creative minds.

Philosophy:

  • To provide an atmosphere conducive to the social, physical, intellectual, and emotional aspects of each child’s development.

  • To challenge children to achieve their full potential in an environment that fosters learning experiences and fun!

  • To help each child develop self-confidence and happiness through play and creative activities.

  • To be committed to open enrollment without regard to sex, race, religion, or ethnic background.
