ORANGE SENIOR CENTER |
The First United Methodist Church of Orange has supported the Orange Senior Center since its inception. It was, in fact, founded by a member of our congregation. A portion of our outreach dollars has been designated for this worthy organization, which includes the Meals on Wheels program. For many years, several of our members have volunteered their time to deliver these hot meals to shut-ins in our community. The Senior Center is located in downtown Orange, just a few blocks from our church. It offers a wide variety of assistance programs for seniors, including health screening and lectures, dance classes, support groups for various health-related concerns, and provides a hot lunch at noon. |
